It’s the perfect time of year to go sledding. The snow has fallen and the sun is out. WHOO! Here are some great tips for sledding.

  • Make sure you have some nice warm clothes that are water proof. The warmer you are, the longer you can sled.
  • Go hill hunting. Find a steep hill that other people haven’t discovered yet. The longer, the better.
  • Get a good sled/tube. Tubes are better because they don’t catch in the snow and go faster. However, you are more likely to fall off a tube than a sled. So you decide.
  • Go sledding when the sun is out. It helps the tubes go even faster.
  • DO NOT tie a tube to your horses saddle. It just might jump the fence and run down the street a few miles before you catch him.
  • Go with a lot of people.  The more the merrier.

Now you can go sledding the right way. :) Have fun all you avid sledders.

When I was in 3rd grade, I fell off my scooter and knocked my permanent front tooth out along with a baby k-nine. They put my front tooth back in and said it might re-attach to the root and it might not. Our hopes were that it would. Unfortunately, it did not. And it started turning gray or dying if you will. After a tooth starts dying, the roots get infected. If you can’t guess, at this current moment, my root is infected.

Each night, my tooth hurt for three days. Why just at night? Good question. Do some research and maybe you could tell me. I have no clue! Anyways,  then it started hurting just all the time. So my dad went to the dentist to set me up an appointment. Meanwhile, I was taking three Tylenol to ease the pain. My dad came home with unfortunate news. The dentists get to take the week off for the New Years holiday. So, I have to deal with the pain till Monday when I can get an appointment for an even later date than that.

When you have to wait for a dentist and four extra strength Tylenol does nothing, you have to resort to other remedies. Such as, making ground cloves into a paste and setting it on the gum or setting some onions on the gum likewise.  Of all the the times for me to develop a toothache, it had to be the same time that dentists take a week off. Today just so happens to be Monday. Six days to go.

So right there you have it. My sob story and some remedies for toothaches. :)

Merry Christmas! Or is it Happy Holidays? December 24, 2008

Hm. Well I’m NOT going to be politically correct so I’m going to just go with Merry Christmas. Seriously? How many people would be terribly offended if someone accidently wished them a Merry Christmas instead of a Happy Kwanza?  And Happy Holidays? Well that’s just a nice way of wishing everyone a “Happy whatever it is you celebrate.”  Why do people have to make a really big deal about everything that is so unimportant? OH MY GOSH! This turky has hormones! PROTEST! Or, GLOBAL WARMING! Okay. Where is the proof that there is actually global warming happening right now? It’s just stupid, money hungry scientist trying to get everyone’s money.  And I’m sorry to all of you who support those studpid, money hungry scientists. Think about it. The earth goes through cycles of cold and hot.  Right now, it’s going through a little hot cycle. NOT A HOT CYCLE! AHHHHH! EVERYONE RUN AWAY! Global warming is lame. And I’m not about to worry about that when I should be worrying about the homeless people and the starving children in Africa. Sorry, but that is just way more important than global warming.

This Christmas, I wish that everyone would stop worrying about the stupid things and worry about more important things like our fellow human beings.  Here is wishing a Merry Christmas to everyone everywhere!
