For all of you who have been searching the web feverishly to find the answer to mud pie making, this should help you out immensely!

  1. Find some mud. Make it if you have to. Get lots of dirt and put water with it. Mix it with your feet. (It feels really good.)
  2. Get all the pieces of rocks and grass out. It will look more realistic if those are vacant.
  3. Using one of your mom’s nice pie pans, fill it with mud. Of course, if there is too much water, it will be too runny.
  4. With a paper towel, clean off the sides of your pie pan so that it looks presentable.
  5. Let it dry if you want for two days or serve it fresh.
  6. If you’re letting it dry, make REAL fudge icing to go over the top. Perhaps even add nuts. Mmm!
  7. Bon appetite! Serves 8-10 unfortunate people.

If you have any alterations to this recipe, let me know. Mud pies can always be improved.

When you have a blog, you can check the stats and it will give you all sorts of information. Such as: A line graph of your hits each day for a month, links people clicked on to get to your site, things people search to get to your site etc.

Now I don’t know what is so great about some of these things people are searching for but you would be surprised to know that the following list is what most people are searching for and then happening on my site

  • dead tree
  • lion lamb
  • mud pies
  • lion and lamb
  • lamb and lion

Dead tree? Why is that such an exciting thing? Maybe I should put more pictures of dead trees up for these dead tree hungry people.

Also, I’m hoping that the reason people are so curious about lions and lambs is something to do with Easter coming up. Otherwise, it’s hopeless.

Once, I noticed someone searching “how to make a mud pie.” This led them to my site. I’m sorry to this very unfortunate viewer because I DO NOT know how to make a mud pie. But perhaps it would be good to find out.

My line graph of hits looks really cool. It changes daily. It’s never high for long and never low for long. It’s a zig zag. Except at the beginning…

Each number represents a different day. Starting a month ago and going to today with current hits.

0, 8, 0, 0, 0, 2, 2, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 4, 9, 29, 50, 17, 5, 15, 3, 7, 6, 29, 24, 45, 19, 9, 22, 7.

Randomly, I started writing in my blog regularly. Probably because I was home recovering from surgery and I was bored. So now there are no zeros. WHOO HOO! And I have the coolest abnormal line graph ever. :)

In Like a Lamb, Out Like a Lion March 3, 2009

The morning of Sunday March 1st was a clear day without any wind. March came in like a Lamb. So true to the little saying, March should go out like a Lion.  As of right now, March is going along with the usual wind. The snow is melting like crazy and there is a lot of mud unfortunately. Looking on the bright side, I can now go make mud pies and feed them to my most unfortunate friends. I wonder how I will pull that one off? I’ll let you now how it goes.

March is the best and the worst month all year. The best because Spring is coming. The worst because everything is still gray and dull. No green yet. And all the trees look dead. Like this one:

When Spring comes, there are so many great things to look forward too. Summer, Easter, Summer, my choir trip, Summer, swimming, Summer, star gazing, Summer. Did I mention Summer? I must have forgotten. Summer is something to look forward too. I forgot to put it in my list so I just listed it there. Last of all, the best of all the… list.
